I’m Jaime Restrepo.
I'm Jaime Restrepo, and I've spent fifteen years walking families to the closing table. I started Home Loans by Jaime because most mortgage advice is written to sell you something — and I'd rather just sit down beside you, run the real numbers, and tell you what I'd tell my own family. We earn affiliate commissions on some links, but my advice answers to you, not the payout.
Why I do this
I spent my twenties watching good people get talked into the wrong loan because nobody slowed down to explain it. The paperwork is designed to be intimidating, and a lot of the industry is fine with that — a confused borrower signs whatever’s in front of them.
I started Home Loans by Jaime to be the opposite of that. I’d rather sit down beside you, run the real numbers, and tell you exactly what I’d tell my own family — even when the honest answer is “not yet” or “this one isn’t for you.”
